Black Manta
is a supervillain from DC Comics. He is the arch-enemy of Aquaman and accordingly appears most often in the Aquaman comics. Black Manta made his first appearance in Aquaman #35, which was published in August 1967.
The autistic nameless boy who becomes Black Manta was born in Baltimore and loved the sea. He was kidnapped in his childhood and forced to live and work on a ship. Once when he saw Aquaman swimming with dolphins, he called him for help but Aquaman did not see him. After the boy finally managed to free himself and killed one of his kidnappers with a knife, his view of the sea had changed. He now considered the sea to be emotionless and cold and saw Aquaman as the representative of the sea. He swore to himself that one day he would rule the sea.
Origin of Chibi
The term "chibi" is derived from the Japanese verb "chibiru," which means "to wear out" and "to become shorter." To refer to something or someone small or chubby, the term "chibi-debu" is also used.
Here, "chibi" does not simply mean "small", but is used to mean "cute".
"Chibi" refers to the depiction of characters in childlike form.
The "chibi" style is used in anime and manga to illustrate strong emotions such as anger, fear, or moe. Often "Chibi" is used synonymously with "Super Deformed", which refers to an overly distorted drawing style.
Chibi - Art
Chibi is a form of stylized figure drawing that originated in Japan. Chibi figures are usually between two and four heads tall.
They are often used on merchandise for popular anime series. With their large, distinct facial expressions, they are also useful in creating a fun or cute atmosphere.
Most chibi figures are roughly the same size and body shape, regardless of the gender, face size, body size, body shape, and age of the original design.
