The gentle artist of life
The Rabbit is an extremely sensitive and cultured being who wants to enjoy a quiet and peaceful life. Nevertheless, it is sociable, though never pushy. What is special about Rabbits is their penchant for harmony, beauty and grace. As gentle and sensitive as they are: they always remain a little inscrutable and know exactly what they want. They are characterised by prudence, composure and tact and show themselves to be discreet and distinguished. Family means a lot to Rabbits, but everyday duties are not their thing. They have other strengths.
-Chinese zodiac sign Rabbit: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023.
The Rabbit is the fourth of all the Zodiac animals. Legend has it that the Rabbit was proud - even arrogant - because of its speed and always made fun of the Ox for being so slow. One day, the Jade Emperor announced that the order of the Zodiac animals would be determined according to the order in which the animals would arrive for his feast.
The hare set off early. But when he got there, there were no other animals to be seen. He thought he was the first anyway, so he lay down nearby and took a nap. But when he woke up, three other animals had already arrived. One of them was the ox he had always looked down on.
