The Silent Mary

The Silent Mary is a galleon of the Armada Española that was active in the Caribbean during the Golden Years of Piracy. Under the command of Capitán Armando Salazar, the ship was the pride of Spain's Royal Navy and the most feared pirate-hunting vessel. During one of her missions in the first decade of the 18th century, the Silent Mary got caught in the mysterious Devil's Triangle and has since been considered lost. It was not until 1751 that she returned to the Seven Seas, but she is now a fearsome ghost ship and her crew have become ghosts.

Pirate Hunt

The year of construction of the Silent Mary is not known, but she must have been built before 1707[1] as she was thought to have been lost for decades from around that time. What is known, however, is that soon after her commissioning she became the pride of the Armada Española, Spain's royal navy. Her main task was to hunt down and destroy pirates. To this end, the Silent Mary was equipped with nearly a hundred cannons, manned by well-trained soldiers whose loyalty to Spain was beyond doubt, and commanded by the highly decorated Capitán Armando Salazar. Under his leadership, she became the most feared pirate hunter in the Seven Seas.
