The issuing state "LËTZEBUERG" and "GROUSSHERZOG HENRI" can be seen on the left edge of the image, extending into the ring of the coin. The issue occasion "MEMBER OF THE INTERANTIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE" can be read on the lower right edge of the image, extending into the ring of the coin. Running from the upper to the lower right edge of the picture, five stylised athletes of different Olympic disciplines are arranged with the dates "1998" and "2023". One of the figures symbolises the anniversary number "25".
