Die 2023er Ausgabe des American Silver Eagle wurde von der US Mint aus einer Unze 99,9% Silber geprägt. Das Motiv zeigt die Freiheit symbolisierende Göttin "Walking Liberty" von Adolph A. Weinman, die der aufgehenden Sonne entgegen schreitet. Auf der Rückseite ist der amerikanische Weißkopfseeadler abgebildet. Anlässlich seines 35. Jubiläums im Jahr 2021 erstrahlt der American Silver Eagle nun erstmals seit Einführung der Münze in neuem Erscheinungsbild. Das neue Design wurde durch die AIP-Designerin Emily Damstra entworfen und zeigt einen majestätischen Adler, der zur Landung anzusetzen scheint und einen Eichenzweig in seinen Klauen hält. Umrahmt wird der Adler von den Aufschriften "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" und "1OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR"
