The obverse of the coin shows the Armenian coat of arms and the words "REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA". Underneath, the face value is indicated as 500 drams, since drams are the official Armenian currency. The coin is marked with the fineness "1 Oz Ag 999". Just as discreetly, the year of minting is shown below the face value.

The reverse of the coin is decorated with a fine depiction of the eponymous ark. In the background of the ark you can see Mount Ararat, which is still a symbol of Armenia today and where Noah's journey ended. In the foreground of this motif you can see the dove with the olive branch in its beak, which according to the Bible text announced the end of the Flood. The English name of the coin "Noah's Ark" as well as its English translation can also be seen on the reverse of this beautiful silver coin.
