The Victory, also known as HMS Victory, is a ship of the line of the first rank that was built for the Royal Navy in the early 1760s. The Victory gained fame as Vice Admiral Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. She is the oldest warship in service and is now in dry dock at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, where she serves as the flagship of the First Sea Lord and as a museum ship.

Der Kampfadler (Polemaetus bellicosus)

ist ein großer Adler mit einer Grösse von 78 - 96 cm & einer Flügelspannweite von 2,50 m & ist in Afrika südlich der Sahara beheimatet ist. Er ist das einzige Mitglied der Gattung Polemaetus. Er gehört zur Unterfamilie der gestiefelten Adler (Aquilinae) und hat Federn über dem Fußwurzelgelenk. Er ist eine der größten und stärksten Adlerarten und ein ziemlich opportunistisches Raubtier, das bei der Wahl seiner Beute zwischen Säugetieren, Vögeln und Reptilien variiert. Er ist eine der wenigen Adlerarten, von denen bekannt ist, dass sie hauptsächlich aus der Höhe jagen, indem sie sich über ihre Beute beugen.Diese Art, die in bewaldeten Gürteln der ansonsten offenen Savanne lebt, hat in den letzten Jahrhunderten aufgrund einer Vielzahl von Faktoren einen drastischen Rückgang verzeichnet. Der Kampfadler ist eine der am stärksten verfolgten Vogelarten der Welt. Aufgrund seiner Gewohnheit, Vieh und regional wertvolles Wild zu erbeuten, versuchen lokale Landwirte und Wildhüter häufig, den Kampfadler zu eliminieren, obwohl die Auswirkungen der Adler auf diese Beute mit Sicherheit stark übertrieben sind. Derzeit wird der Kampfadler von der IUCN als vom Aussterben bedroht eingestuft

The martial eagle (Polemaetus bellicosus)

is a large eagle native to sub-Saharan Africa.It is the only member of the genus Polemaetus. A species of the booted eagle subfamily (Aquilinae), it has feathers over its tarsus. One of the largest and most powerful species of booted eagle, it is a fairly opportunistic predator that varies its prey selection between mammals, birds and reptiles. It is one of few eagle species known to hunt primarily from a high soar, by stooping on its quarry. This species, an inhabitant of wooded belts of otherwise open savanna, has shown a precipitous decline in the last few centuries due to a variety of factors. The martial eagle is one of the most persecuted bird species in the world. Due to its habit of taking livestock and regionally valuable game, local farmers and game wardens frequently seek to eliminate martial eagles, although the effect of eagles on this prey is almost certainly considerably exaggerated. Currently, the martial eagle is classified with the status of Endangered by the IUCN
