Das Motiv der Euromünze einen Kaiseradler. Umgeben wird das Design von den Aufschriften "15 EURO CENT", "ÁGUILA IMPERIAL" und "2025". Als eine der ältesten globalen Währungen zeigt die Rückseite der Münze zwei gekrönte Weltkugeln, die über dem Meer schwebend dargestellt sind. Sie werden flankiert von den zwei Säulen des Herakles, um die zwei Banner mit dem lateinischen Motto "PLUS ULTRA" (dt.: immer weiter) wehen. Ebenfalls enthalten sind die Aufschrift "FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA", das Gewicht und die Feinheit der Goldmünze.

Der Kaiseradler (spa.: Aquila Heliaca) steht seit Jahrtausenden symbolisch für Herrschaft, Macht, Kraft und Heldentum. Während Adler allgemein als die "Herrscher der Lüfte" bezeichnet werden, handelt es sich bei dem Kaiseradler um einen Spitzenprädator, der eine signifikante Rolle für das Ökosystem spielt, in dem er lebt. Nachdem der majestätische Raubvogel vor ca. 190 Jahren bereits beinahe ausgerottet wurde, sind die Populationen heutzutage insbesondere durch den Verlust von Lebensraum sowie illegale Jagd bedroht, weshalb der Kaiseradler von der International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) als "gefährdet" eingestuft wird.

As one of the oldest global currencies, the reverse of the coin shows two crowned globes floating above the sea. They are flanked by the two pillars of Heracles, around which two banners with the Latin motto “PLUS ULTRA” (engl.: always further) are waving. Also included are the inscription “FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA”, the weight and fineness of the gold coin.

The imperial eagle (spa.: Aquila Heliaca) has symbolized rule, power, strength and heroism for thousands of years. While eagles are commonly referred to as the “rulers of the skies”, the imperial eagle is an apex predator that plays a significant role in the ecosystem in which it lives. After the majestic bird of prey was almost wiped out around 190 years ago, populations are now threatened in particular by habitat loss and illegal hunting, which is why the imperial eagle is classified as “endangered” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
